The Biggest Scottish Eurovison Fan!
Dean is from Glasgow, Scotland. He claims to be one of the biggest Eurovison fans he knows.
"I think everyone has experienced something to do with Eurovision during their childhood. I remember watching Eurovision with my family from a very young age. I just remember it being a stupid TV show about people from countries all across Europe singing extremely bonkers songs. I knew i loved the show the moment i set my eyes on it."
Stockholm 2016 was the first contest where he was fully invested in the whole contest. It was the first year he watched the semi-finals and was also the first year he followed some of the national finals.
"None of my friends or family were big fans of Eurovision so i didn't really have anyone to talk to about the show. That's the main reason why i started ESC Scot, so i could try and build a community where i could talk about Eurovision endlessly. Two years after creating the site, i have recruited two more amazing team members, Been accredited twice in a row and have amassed a bunch of loyal and caring watchers and readers of ESC Scot and to them i'm very thankful."
